The evolution of smartphones has been an amazing one and one that’s moving so fast that there will always be new things to look out for. When the Apple iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy S10 series were released last year, we all couldn’t believe our eyes because they came with unexpected features; then Samsung hit us with the Galaxy S20 series in the first quarter of 2020, where one of the models boast a ridiculous 100x zoom. These devices have been on the market for a while now, and here we are, looking out for the things that are yet to come.

Before the coronavirus outbreak crippled businesses across the globe, 2020 seemed like it was going to be an amazing year for the smartphone industry, because we will all get to experience the much anticipated iOS 14 and Android 11, although the latter is now out as a Developer Preview. New reports state that Apple is now considering delaying the iPhone 12 launch by months, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

There are already rumors and leaks of upcoming flagship devices from giant brands like Samsung and Apple, which was set to launch soon, but could be delayed due to the current economic shutdown. We are also expecting other brands to follow suit in releasing new flagships.
