It’s the time of our lives where technology is at its summit and instead of looking at the bad side of it, we should just count our blessings and see ourselves as ‘blessed’ to be part of this generation seeing all these great inventions. Ten years ago, Blackberry was the leading brand worldwide and needless to say, it was the brand everybody thought would never go behind again because their team came with lots of innovations at the time and we couldn’t help but follow their leads.

Fast forward to 2019 where technology coupled with incredible ideas have taken over the world – our world. We are evolving and technology is at the forefront of that because if anyone told you in 2009 that by 2019, we’d have smartphones that have the functions of a computer and something close to that of a professional camera, you’d have argued the possibility but here we are, enjoying the good things that we have and the ones that are yet to come. When Apple Inc. released the iPhone 11 series few months ago, the thought of we now living in a world of endless possibilities hit, and not just that, the Samsung Galaxy Note Plus is everything a man needs in one device.

Let’s compare and look at the best out of Google Pixel 4 XL, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Google Pixel 4 XL

Google Pixel 4 XL is the superior version of the newly released Google Pixel 4 which means they have matching designs. On the outside, you’ll think both phones are the same unless you take a closer look at the built-in features. Just like the Pixel 4, yet again, the build-up features metal and glass, with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both ends of the phone. The phone features a 12MP primary camera, supported by a 16MP telephoto camera with an aperture of F/2.0 and an 8MP front camera.

The phone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, with a RAM capacity of 6GB complementing the internal memory of either 64GB or 128GB. Unfortunately, this phone doesn’t support a Micro-SD which means you won’t be able to expand the memory.

One huge upgrade this version has on the other version, Pixel 4, is the battery capacity. Pixel 4 XL has a 3700 mAh battery as opposed the 2800 mAh battery that’s featured on the other version. Another big difference is the bigger screen display of 6.3-inch and screen resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels. Having said that, it is important to know the pros and cons of this phone which are listed below.

  • This phone is a great phone and one of the great things featured on this phone is the large screen display. The phone features a 6.3-inch screen, that’s a whole lot better than the previous version.
  • The combined 28MP rear camera is not often seen on phones except the high-end and quality phones which seem so outstanding for a phone of this caliber.
  • Like most smartphones coming through now, the phone features an 18W fast charge.
  • With this phone, charging has been made easier with the wireless charging feature.

  • So pathetic that the phone only has maximum internal storage of 128GB which cannot be expanded because the phone doesn’t support a Micro-SD card.
  • A supposed pro phone shouldn’t look a whole lot like its younger version and not even in terms of designs now, the features are almost the same except for a few ones.

The Pixel 4 XL is undoubtedly a great smartphone in general, but even as the newest out of the three devices being compared, we can’t see any of its advantages over its rivals; apart from the fact that it costs $899 which makes it the cheapest out of the three smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus

This is the best ever Samsung output and although it’s obvious it will soon be overtaken by another production from the same brand, this product will never be forgotten for being an all-in-one. The phone features a brilliant 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 1440 x 3040 pixel resolution which is absolutely fantastic to watch movies and surf the web, also to do some major personal tasks. Sporting the One UI software which is the basis of the phone, the RAM stands at 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB internal memory which can be extended up to 1TB via a Micro-SD card. The phone is powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset which is more powerful than the one on the previous version.

The chipset features an octa-core processor in a tri-cluster architecture consisting of two dual-core processors with up to 2.74GHz and 2.4GHz with the quad-core processor having up to 1.9GHz.

Camera-wise, at the back of the phone is the main 12MP wide-angle camera which is paired with 12MP telephoto camera and 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The fourth camera is a 3D-ToF sensor that helps with scene depth mapping when one is taking portrait photos, and playing with most AR features and live videos. This phone lasts for hours, thanks to the huge battery capacity of 4300 mAh which is rarely associated to Samsung products, that’s to show that this device is extraordinarily one-of-a-kind.

  • The battery capacity is not a regular one, especially when it comes to exotic devices from brands like Samsung or Apple so to see this phone with a whopping 4300 mAh is exciting.
  • Not every phone, now or the ones that are yet to be produced, will have a 12GB RAM. That’s so amazing and we bet there’s nothing you shouldn’t be able to do with this phone.
  • If a phone can take up to 1TB external memory, it is not a regular phone and such phone is widely regarded as special.
  • Big battery + fast charge. What else could you ask for?
  • How can the all-new S Pen be left out? The new S Pen is a powerful stylus that lets you perform so many functions, thanks to its six-axis motion sensor which includes an accelerometer and gyroscope. The S Pen basically works as a remote control for your device with so many features, and currently no other phone manufacturer offers this.

  • In comparison to any other Galaxy Note that has ever been made, the Note 10+ has the biggest size at 6.8 inches; it is slightly larger than the already-massive Note 9. It would’ve been nicer if we could get the same exceptional features in something a bit smaller – 6.8 inches is tad bit too big to carry around or operate with just one hand. This is the only advantage the Galaxy Note10 has over the Galaxy Note10+. Some users don’t consider this a con though, as they prefer larger phones.
  • The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus is pretty pricey.

The phone costs $1099 for the 256GB version and costs $1199 for the 512GB version.

Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max

Apple’s newest phone – iPhone 11 Pro Max features Apple’s latest and greatest mobile processor – the A13 Bionic. Storage options for iPhone 11 Pro Max are the same as the 11 Pro with 64GB, 256GB and 512GB which is supported by a standard 4GB RAM. Although the expectation for the battery capacity was a bit higher than the 3969mAh that came with the phone; this is a whole lot lesser than the 4300mAh that is on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus.

iPhone 11 Pro Max features 3 rear cameras that have a combined range of 36MP and with a 6.5-inch screen size and a screen display of 1242 x 2688 pixels, you’re sure to love this phone for what it’s worth. The selfie camera range stands at 12MP + 3D ToF Dual camera.

  • The phone features a great front camera, a whopping 12MP.
  • The 4GB RAM is the best of any Apple phone.
  • The phone supports fast charge which is great for any phone.
  • Maximum internal memory storage of 512GB is absolutely fantastic.

  • With Samsung Galaxy S10 plus having up to 8GB RAM, one would have expected iPhone 11 Pro Max to be on the same level at least but it has just one third of what’s on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
  • Battery capacity is somewhat a shortcoming on this smartphone. A phone can’t have all those great features without an exceptional battery capacity to run them. Although more powerful than the Pixel 4 XL, the iPhone 11 Pro Max battery capacity is much lower than the Galaxy Note 10+.
  • The iPhone 11 Pro Max is pricey as well.

Because this phone has 3 versions (64GB, 256 GB and 512GB), the prices for each vary. The 64GB will cost $1000 at most; 256GB costs $1200 while the 512GB costs a whopping $1500.

So, which of these smartphones is considered King, and the overall best?

Alright, let’s start with the elimination method, and with that, the Google Pixel 4 XL would be out of the picture because it’s the obvious least of all three (although the cheapest if one has to judge by that); leaving us with two products from the two most respected smartphone brands worldwide.

From almost all indications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus is better than its competition – the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max. The Galaxy Note 10 Plus has x 3 of the RAM available on iPhone 11 Pro Max and while the iPhone 11 Pro Max still boasts a reasonable battery capacity, the presence of 4300mAh non-removable battery on the Samsung Note 10 Plus is no mate of Apple’s iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the all-new super-functional S Pen is a big plus for the Galaxy Note 10+. So now to our question; which is the King and overall best? The answer is Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
