American aircraft company Gulfstream has just unveiled the largest private jet in the world – the G700. The aircraft was revealed at the 2019 National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition, where a full-scale prototype of the plane was put on stage for everyone to admire.
The Gulfstream G700 features an extended range, advanced speed, and the tallest, widest and longest cabin in the private jet industry; additionally it features everything necessary for private business travel. Gulfstream also revealed that its new Predictive Landing Performance System, which notifies the pilot ahead if there might be a problem with landing, will be included in the G700.
The Gulfstream G700 price is set at $75 million USD, and it offers additional features like an elevated cabin experience, including five living areas, a six-place dining or conference room and a master suite with an accompanying shower. Additional amenities include an advanced circadian lighting system that recreates sunrise and sunset in order to adjust passengers to new time zones, as well as 100 percent fresh air circulating the cabin at all times.
Gulfstream President Mark Burns explained “The Gulfstream G700 takes the very best elements from our most innovative products and unites them with cutting-edge advances to create an all-new, advanced-technology aircraft that redefines safety, comfort and range at speed,” he said.
