British automaker McLaren has officially unveiled the Elva Roadstar, the latest addition to its Ultimate Series. According the McLaren, this is the lightest road car it has ever made, and the name and design was inspired by the open-cockpit racers built in the ’60s by McLaren and its racing partner at the time, Elva.

The McLaren Elva Roadster is equipped with the same 4.0-L twin-turbo V8 engine found in the Senna, which cranks out 804 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The two-seater supercar is capable of doing 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 3 seconds.

With only 399 units manufactured, the McLaren Elva Roadster will be available for customer deliveries in late 2020, selling at a whopping price of $1.7 million USD (Dh6.2m). Check out the official photos below.
