The Motorola Razr, one of the most iconic phones circa 2000, has received a modern update for the new generation. Motorola has announced that the iconic flip phone will be making its come back in the form of an Android smartphone.
The all-new Motorola Razr retains its flippable identity but replaces the T9 keypad and small LCD with a 6.2-inch plastic OLED screen that folds in half. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 9 Pie operating system, with a Snapdragon 710 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
According Motorola, the Razr unfolds to a fully flat panel, with no visible or tactile creases, and it will be completely water-repellent; and it boasts two cameras – one on the outside of the flip part and another on the inside.
The new Motorola Razr will cost $1,499, which will make it one of the cheapest foldable smartphones on the market, but at the same time more expensive than conventional smartphones.
