However, the sweltering summer doesn’t last the whole year, therefore there are months of lower temperatures, with rainfalls and even occasional snowfalls and hailstorms.

The best time to visit Dubai (or Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general) is from November till April because this is the perfect time to see some bright blue skies and enjoy the outdoors, in what some consider to be the ideal beach-going weather. During this period, you will still experience some heat but at a very minimal level – especially around November till the middle of December; but the temperature drops toward the end of December till the end of February and it might not be the best period to go to the beach.
The temperature starts going higher again from the month of March all the way till October, and the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors during this period is from March till the end April. The climate starts going berserk from May – July and August is usually the peak; and while some prefers to stay away from the outdoors as much as possible during the sweltering summer period, some considers it the ideal time to enjoy the city.
With that being said, there are plenty of indoor activities and places to experience and enjoy, irrespective of the extreme weather outside; because pretty much all the buildings in Dubai are fully air-conditioned, even the swimming pools, metro, buses, and many bus stops.
